IFS and BRC Certifications. Willing to perpetuate the traditions in order to guarantee the authentiocity of the wines, Cellier des Princes is open to the word with quality certifications IFS (France, Allemagne), as well as BRC (United-Kingdom), international norms based on ISO 9001 and the HACCP system.

Creation of the Tasting Room – Shop on the “Holiday Road” : The RN7 which was the longest national road in France with 996 Km. This raod was celebrated in the famous song from Charles Trenet, The Poet-Singer

Extension of the Cellar Door and development of the Wine Tourism : Wine & Art exhibition, Picnic Trails in the Châteauneuf vineyards, Jeudi Gourmands (Wine Pairing Thursdays) etc…

New Strategic focus by switching from selling in bulk to selling in botlle. 10 years later, the sales in bottles have been multiplied by 6.

On the 15th of May 1936 is published the appellation decree and Châteauneuf du Pape become the 1st wine AOC in France. Today, the vineyards are spread out on 3200 Hectares in the villages of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Bédarrides, Courthézon, Orange et Sorgues.
The winegrowers of Cellier des Princes have been actively involved in the creation of this first AOC and Cru in France.

– Partnership with the “Winemaker of the year” 2010 by Rober Parker : Philippe Cambie, Grenache Master, is the consultant for the most prestigious Estates in Châteauneuf du Pape, but also in the USA. He has received 15 times the perfect score of 100/100 by Robert Parker.
– Acquisition of the vineyards from “DOMAINE DES ESCONDUDES” by Cellier des Princes

Launch of the wine range : Cru, AOP and IGP from Rhône Valley under the brand “Cellier des Princes”. Today the wines from Cellier des Princes are distributed in more than 30 countries.

Installation of the winemaking facility in Courthezon next the national road 7 (RN7). They were originally in the center of the village next to the railroad.
The new facility has a better visibility, easier access with a fast access to the highway, and modernized equipents. The quality is improved, the sales are growing.

Sustainable development :
– Installation of solar panels on the roof top of the winery
– 1st Cuvée mode from organic agriculture with DOMAINE ST JACQUES

1st Plot Selection (Single Vineyard) and setting up of the viticultural guide-line for the winegrowers of Cellier des Princes.

Cellier des Princes, group of producers, is founded. Cellier des Princes has the unique advantage to own vineyards on the 3 characteristic soils of Châteauneuf du Pape : Round Pebbles, Sandy soils and Clay/limestone soils. Cellier des Princes can offer wines with a wide range of aromas pairing finesse, elegance and structure.
